The newest project...

I bought a 1985 GS from a crackhead here in New Orleans for $200.

Since buying it, here's what I've done/bought:
1982 GSL rearend
1982 driveshaft - hollowed, 6lbs. lighter than stock
Mazdatrix DOT-approved ss brakelines
15x7" Centerline IMSA wheels
Falken Azenis Sports 205-50-15
Racing Beat springs all around
Racing Beat strut tower bar (the old skool one that doesn't attach to the firewall)
Tokico blue shocks/struts
Tweakit Industries 48IDA to 12A intake manifold
Weber 48IDA
Ram-Flo IDA air filter and rechargeable element
All emissions removed
Racing Beat Streetport exhaust
Racing Beat 4puck sprung clutch
Racing Beat Race pressure plate
Racing Beat braided stainless brake line used as the clutch line
B&M Short Shift Kit
B&M T-Handle Shifter
NEW Mazda Emergency Brake cables

The motor that came with the car had 197,000 miles on it... the front rotor was garbage.
We put another motor in it that was known to have high compression, but bad oil seals. That ended up popping.

So now, I am putting a new motor in, that has high compression, doesn't smoke, and it is in genuinely GREAT shape. I already have some of the parts to install a 100-shot of nitrous on the way, so we'll see how long before I need a rebuild

The paint, yeah, I know it's hideous. But...

I have a hookup on getting a paintjob, and it's going to be painted with another shade of blue... MONTEGO BLUE. I LOVE the way that color looks, and with the polished Centerlines, it will look awesome.

Those rims are awsome, how much did they cost? (I know I wont be able to get them, but one of seven must have costed a lot)

Interesting find. But, a crackhead would have probably taken $50.

They're all the same.
