New seat
The driver side seat in my 1982 is shot. Is there a site that sells new foam and covers? Or... any recommendations on replacement seats, ones that bolt in directly or for which adapters can be purchased?

Racing beat sells the covers, not sure about the foam, but I'm sure they know who does if you give them a ring.
Also, you could take it to a fab shop if needed.
I just swapped FC seats into my FB too if you're looking for a factory appearing replacement.

yep - you can see in my thread:

If you use FB sliders, all is well - just have to use a bolt/nut combo on the passenger rail that goes to the tranny tunnel side...but no drilling, cutting, etc is needed... just the bolt & nut..

i just took mine apart and ripped the seams of a black fur coat... and got creative. by the way, if your hardware breaks.... don't use JB Weld. it doesn't work. i tried it... a few times
