new radio

Ok I Took apart the fascia, got the radio out,I'm lookin at the wires and "What tha #$$#" is this? then I rememberd this thing has a funky joystick for the speaker ballance, can anyone help I'd like to keep it .

the new radio fit into the old bracket so I measured how far the old one came out and tack welded the new bracket in I should look good and give me some space under for cd storage.I may make a cd holder or just spay paint it black

Grab the wiring diagram from the link below.

The round connector is the joystick you speak of. There should be a white one too.

here is the finnished radionew radio-100_0119.jpg
I PUT 4.5'' 140 W that barely fit in front and 5.5 " 140 w in the back I must say it sounds good and I'm used to Audi Bose system. I'll put some thin black foam insulation on the inside and glue on the little cover later
