I don't mind loud. I just mind obnoxious. Now the shitty gasket is melted to my header. Any advice on getting it off? I can't scrape it off with a screw driver and I'm not about to sand it off.

Haha they overnighted me the gasket and they gave me four new nuts.

Recommend getting a real header from RB. 23 years ago I got a Mind Train header, were suppose to be a more equal pressure design that Racing Beat; 2 years later I switched to RB after it rusted out. Car still using it today. RB used OEM gaskets, they don't melt onto anything. Rotary exhaust temps are too high for the fly by night Chinese sourced crap. And the only thing RB had to do with Monza was the inspiration for the design.

They may have copied the looks, but they failed (miserably) at copying the quality.
RB uses 7/16 plate for the flanges, and 1/8 thick pipe for the tubing. They're a tad heavy, but well worth the price.
I picked up a used RB header, and the only way to tell it wasn't new, was the (minor) discoloration of the ceramic coating.

Got transfered with my job. Sucks. Miss OK. It's good to hear it's wet there too. It rains almost every other day here.

Well it's over. I had to sand off the crappy gasket because it melted to the header. Then I put the oem one on and the whole thing sounds great. Don't have much to compare it to but I'm happy for now!
