new here.

about to get an 84 rex in 2 weeks. what are some basics that i should know? this is my first rotary. what can YOU tell me?

i was thinking about getting an rx8 but before i do, i thought may be i should experiment with the older rotarys to build some foundation.

i come from the piston family. ive been working with piston engines for years. mainly honda/acura, dodge, nissan and some toyota.

anyway. anyone in the georgia area? id like to meet some of you guys. it doesnt seem like there are too many rotary fans around here. nor any drifting fans. nor any REAL car lovers. nor anyone serious about driving.

Drifting is best left to the Japanese.

Most of the components on a rotary are the same as a piston car. Just keep oil in it; check it everytime you get gas. Running out of oil may be the number one cause of death for rotary engines. And don't overheat.
