New First Gen. Parts

Hey, guys how hard do you think it would be for Mazda to fire up the old molds and re-make first gen parts. If there was some way we could show them that in North America there is still a huge! market, maybe they could make a limmited run of parts.
Can you imagine being able to order new parts to restore your 7?

There's more money in making new cars - and you know how those corporations are about making money.

Sorry it will never happen. You'd have better luck getting the stuff to make your own new parts, then getting mazda to. :P

car companies usually destroy all the molds, templates, etc they use to build cars after a certain amount of time. I agree it would be awesome to buy new mazda parts, but in the case of most parts it ain't gonna happen. Sure you can buy stuff from mazda dealers, like tie rod ends or something, but all the templates to make the body and frame are surely gone.
