IN Needing some ideas!!!!

Ok just bought my car its a 1984 GSL-SE i just got my oil cooler fixed and i am looking to get some more power out of it.. Without spending like over 6 or 700 dollars so im looking for a bunch of little things.... I am buying a new exhaust the guy who had it before took it off(Egg head move) and i really just need some more power if you got any ideas leave em and believe me they are appreciated.

Exhaust is a must, intake and ignition are other simple areas to make good gains, but to really make it sing get a street port done or install a TII engine

Before thinking of more power please advise on what you've done in regards to brakes and suspension. i

Upgrading the pads, lines, and replacing the rotors is adequate for most application. I have seen a few first gen on track driven by instructors with stock brake system.

If he has good quality parts the SE brakes are the biggest on any SA/FB so they should be more than adequate at this time

the car is old, youll notice the best stuff from replacing old wearing parts.

here is what will make your car a blast:

all new bushings and steering components(you ened to make safe also)
exhaust
MSD with direct fire set up
tokico shocks
springs
