So sorry man. From what i've read, clay and fingernails work good for the rubber and trim. The door handles I would imagine would have to be stained. I would call the sherrifs department over the citys. Make a police report and take him to small claims court. To get your money back so you can, refix it again.

add: also about the windows, when I use to tint cars we would fill a sprayer bottle with water and top of off with dishwashing soap. Then we would spray the window and use a razorblade to clean the dirt, debree, film off. Maybe the same would work for the paint.

I do believe you can get new door handles off of black dragon (that's what I'm doing).
For glass..... hmmmm...... fingernails? maybe a fine jewelers screw driver covered in a paper towel drenched in paint thinner? I don't know, it might work but it might also **** your car up even more. I'm not worried about the thinner ruining glass cause it won't, it's if it drips you'll have some trouble.

I always believe in Karma when getting people back. So be the better man and call the cops for vandalism.

I believe the door handles are metal. You should be able to mask off the surrounding area wet sand them down with a very fine grit sandpaper, etch prime them (found at body paint shops, kinda cheap stuff), and spray paint them black.

on the windows use a razor scraper, just make sure that the blade if flat against the window and you won't have to worry about it scratching the glass at all. You could do it with just the blade alone, but in a holder it will be alot easier and less chance that you cut the crap out of your fingers....

Gasoline... Rubber won't be affected by gasoline but paint will... And if your gonna repaint anyways just toss a gallon of gasoline with a sponge and clean it off.

Trust me it WILL eat through any paint given long enough time.

Or if you are a hoity toity rich dude use lighter fluid.

EDIT: use one of those green and yella sponges. it'll work a lot better, but just soaking in gas will do wonders.

EDIT 2: OH and I'd bash that man's face... But thats just me.

You won't need a lawyer if your filing small claims.

Have the police report.
Have a date the car got back from the paint shop, bills, etc.
Have the date and time he got past the rx-7, destroyed, and left.
Have any receipts from the new door handles and trims.
Dont go for an outrageous amount of money, just whats covered in the damage and court fees.
Dont sue for self esteem or mental stress.
A judge does not like to point fingers with he said she said. They want proof.

If you do this you should be fine. Some attorneys will give out free advice

Take this souless creep who destroys autos out into the woods... Tie him to a tree and beat the hell out of him till he blacks out. Then leave him there covered in honey.

The razor blade on the window trick works awesome, I'd try that first since it gets everything else off.

Nice idea with the outer window seals. Mine are crap, and every junker I've found they are worthless as well.

That is a complete douchebag thing to do and I'm sorry for you. I once had someone key some inappropriate terms on my truck in high school a couple years ago - immature bastards. I hope it all turns out and I'll be keeping an eye on the thread to see how the situation progresses, good luck!

Acetone works well for the glass and most rubber too, but keep it off the body paint.

so does this mean i can use an S.O.S pad on the window cuz it pretty much is soft steel wool?. i use it to clean the whitewalls on my other cars but i notice that if i scrub to hard it leaves little scratches in the rubber but barely noticeable n after all the glass is denser than rubber, i think ill try it on a test piece from an old broken house window i got. n im pretty sure its gunna take sum elbow grease and very fine sand paper for the mirrors. any suggestions for a good paint for them???

i dont want an outrageous amount of money(although it would be nice) i just want the amount for the door handles and strips which is about 160- 170 n probably another 10 for the can of thinner i had to buy. luckily when i told the paint n body guy what happend he was real cool n said he'd do it for free but im still gunna kick him down a little money or at least a case of beer. ive got all the paperwork ready n just waiting for a call from the detective tonight. ill get the reciept from mazdatrix later when i go down to pick up the stuff after work

You and me both. I started to park my buick on the street at night. Within 2 nights the back and front had egg's on them. I used the stove cleaner to get the eggs off the windows.

hmm didnt even think about the stove cleaner for your window.

Just "do not" get it on your paint or around it.
