need some advice? good deal?

Found this one yesterday also. It's still available however the low price scared me off. Seems like something must be wrong with it. Also, is 121K something to be concerned about? Thanks all. Link attached.

Sorry brother, just learning this forum stuff. Also excited this might be a good deal and wanted advice from you folks in the know. It's been over 15yrs since I owned an RX and much has changed. Thanks, I'll keep it to one thread from here on!

Dude, $950? Go ****** it up! That's not too bad a price, providing the car isn,t dying of cancer.

Not bad looking, Odd that it has red interior and gray door panels.

Nothing wrong with 121K but as a note the 12A has an average life of about 150K.

I've seen rebuilts available in my area for ~$1500. Is that about average? Don't want to think about replacing the engine yet. I'll be like the guy who is sleeping in the back of his RX before long!!

I say go for it. I picked mine up for $300 and drove it home about 300 miles. Still running strong with 125000. Good deals can be found, maybe you got one.

Damn! It was a piece of junk. Started, ran, drove terrible, big pool of oil where it was parked. Oh well, the search continues. Thanks for the help on what to look for all. Speaking of which, lots of rust on the wheel wells. Don't think it was originally a Colorado car.

I understand, for that price I can't expect much. The one that got away this morning is still haunting me...think I need to take a break from looking for awhile to get back to reality. The owner was asking for $1500 but said he would deal. See link

I know, I know...let it go!

Maybe in your neighborhood but I have bought them that ran better and drove them home for 50 bucks. Car/ engine was fine if you don't count the rear upper control arms flapping in the wind and the driveshaft hitting the floorpan every standing start and gear shift. lol.

Lucky bastard. The only one I got real lucky on was my 85 that had a rebuilt motor I pretty much stole it.

It was very quickly parted out. The worst rust bucket of the 15 I have bought. Engine soon developed a dowel pin leak shortly after installing it in the one that became the widebody. Had a mint 83 tranny in it though. More than worth the 50 bucks.
