need to know one thing!?!?

ok iv been told that the 7's flood esay and iv had mine flood on me so i would say thats right but iv also heard that if you flood them to bad you have to pull out the spark pluges and dry them and turn it over a little just want to know if im going to have to do this or just turinging it over will work have my fuel pump hooked right up to the battery and on a switch and i left it on so all my gas pumped out and its flooded bad and ya last time it flooded i just left it in a parking lot for a little and after that it started up as if nothing happend.only had 10 dollors worth of gas so its not to bad

they'll flood for a couple of reasons.
1. poor compression
2. improperly adjusted carb
3. no spark or poor spark
4. leaky injectors (GSL-SE)

If it's flooding a lot, you probably have some problem with the fuel delivery system or carb. For instance, I was reviving my '83 after it sat for 13 years, and it had several problems going on at once. I rebuilt the carb and didn't get the float level set quite right, new needle valve wasn't seating properly, air (bowl) vent solenoid was only working intermittently, and then gunk in the tank made it past the fuel filter and settled in the float bowls requiring the carb to be disassembled again. It flooded a number of times until I got all these problems worked out and hasn't flooded again since.

Search and you can find a better explanation of the de-flooding procedure, but basically, remove the plugs, remove power to the coils- I just pull the plug wires out of the coil, but some people have started fires doing tghis , turn off the fuel pump, and spin the engine until it stops blowing fuel out the plug holes. Put everything back together using fresh plugs, pour a little oil down the primaries and fire her up.

i know why it floods i just need to know if im going to have a hard time starting it or if turning it over will work.

In my experience, if it's flooded, it won't start until you de-flood it. I spun mine over enough one time when it was flooded that it dumped a bunch of gas into the exhaust and the thing smoked (while not running) for about 10 minutes. I pushed it away from the garage because I though it was going to catch fire
