For now don't worry about unpluged wires, if it's unpluged, it's not working, if it's not working, no drainig.
Also like with all cars, even today, there are always unpluged cables. The wire harnesses are the same for all models, so it's normal that some cable connectors are unused.
Just concentrate on the fuses, and alternator for now. That will tell you where the problem is, from there you can check the wiring.

im having the same problem! i think it may be the damn alarm system that has been causing me some many problems... first i would randomly just start going off.... then i disabled it and my flashes wont work now... then i swapped engines and the fuel pump would come on since there are apparently wires that are still connected to the alarm system, so now thats hard wired to a fuse to come on when i turn the key to the ON position ... when its not so damn cold im just going to pull all the wires and rewire my car but until then my battery is just dying... im going to start pulling the negative cable off the terminal when i park it over night so im not stranded in the morning and so i can make it to work... i have a new found hate for alarm systems!

i'm pretty sure there are some blown fuses, ALL wipers don't even attempt to move i'm gonna check out the fuses though, im pretty sure something is messed up cause it wasn't garaged before and both doors leak A LOT, and i dont know but maybe in some miraculous way water found its way somewhere, also, there's a wire under the shift boot, its unplugged, and im not sure of what it does, all i know its unplugged and under the power window switches there's a switch that says left front right and back, i THINK, (letters are faded) well anyway that chunk can be taken out with no effort whatsoever just a lift with the pinky, what is that? The power window switches work great by the way, not the windows, but that's not as big as a priority as this.
just thought i'd throw some of those in
