Need input on car purchase
i know i know its another should i buy this thread but lol.
Ok well Ive never owned an RX-7 before even though im an april 05'er because i was to young to get my licence. Now i'm of age to get my licence i desperately want an rx-7 and i have enough money for even about a 90-91' RX-7 but i want i first gen as they just look so cool and yeah and as im just starting to drive it would be stupid to be like some gay crazy speeder *** wad who thinks hes a good driver because i ain't driving comes with experience. And anyway im more in to not good for the engine (well on a rotary...) staying in gears long and revving high rather than high speed in correct gears anyway i think this is very nice and i was seriously thinking of buying it. Please look at the pictures and see if it looks like it has been damaged or somthing as you know rx-7s more as youve owned one i just know the paper work and manuals inside out i have no hands on experience with them and yeah thats the end of my ramble.
And also what kind of webber(s) should suit this. (STOCK/STANDARD 12A) or is the 4 barrel nikki good enough.
Anyway sorry for being anoying as ive posted wanted ads here. Im just a n00b who needs help from guys who have delt with these dream come trues....
Thanks Guys,

I think that it looks pretty sharp, the body kit and spoiler add a nice touch to the stock look. Does it have a sunroof? From the pics it looks like it doesn't, and if that is indeed the case I believe that would indicate that it is the base model S or the next step up the GS. Are those power windows and lock switches in the center console? If so that would make it a GS, I believe. As far as the price, I have no clue what this car should sell for in your country or in your region, or how they hard to come by, how desireable they are, etc. but if it was in the US it would go for less than $4000, probably around $2000- $2500 is what I'm thinking. Don't forget about the power you have as the buyer to negotiate the price. Start with a low offer, all they can do is say no and chances are you will get it for less than their asking price, especially if you're paying in cash. You should research the pricing on cars from other members down under, as well as on ebay and go from there. Best of luck!

Like I said I don't know what they go for over there. BTW if you do get it, you can't go wrong with a weber! If you're looking for streetability go with a DCOE, for a track car go for the IDA. The DCOE really helps with the low end torque that our cars are lacking in stock configuration. I just installed the DCOE 45 on mine and I LOVE IT!
