Cob jobbed...??? Hahaha. That's funny.

The carb I sent you to rebuild was a YAW, ya know the guy who you praise every chance you get, but you already knew that. Which btw has ran beautifully for me untouched as a daily driver over the duration of the last 4-5 or so years. In fact, that's the ONLY reason I gave you my carb to rebuild.

I'm far from an inpatient kid. I'm 36 years old with 3 kids of my own, but hey... it's ok. You've obviously overlooked the fact that I've had to push my car around everytime it's been in the way carbless for the amount of time I waited and I've overlooked the fact that you've been dealing with the spoonfeeding for however long it's been.

You should try to understand that not everyone here is a seasoned carb mechanic. What you say might entirely make sense to you but be completly 4th world language to another. It clearly shows all over your website. You go there hoping to find a solution to a specific problem and leave with a feeling of overwhelmingness or more problems then what you orginally started with. If you don't want the feedback from me that's cool too, then I wish you good luck in your search for a grief free solution.

Anyways, I don't want to clout this guys troubleshooting thread with highschool bullshit, I've already spent tooo much time explaining. Now I know exactly how you feel.

Chad I pulled the intake off today and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I'm ordering the block off plate and intake manifold gasket on Monday. I'm thinking maybe a intake leak was keeping it from drawing fuel threw the carb. I also checked all the jets in the Sterling Nikki yesterday and they were all clear...

If you have an extra carb spacer I'd really appreciate...

Paul Yaw put an ultra light spring in your vacuum secondary box.
Someone else wired the secondaries to the primary linkage, and not very well, either, IIRC.
If the carb was working so well, then why on Earth would you send it to me for a rebuild?
Sorry for all the trouble my complex website has caused you. Perhaps I should have written two versions.
-I'll tell ya what; You tell me what's lacking on my website, and I'll do my best to amend & edit it so that even you can understand it, ok?

Here's EXACTLY what you're in for should you decide to seek this guys services.

Wanna play back and forth... fine.

IIRC...??? That's where the inital problem stems from. You couldn't recall what you did to my carb, or did you forget that already too..???

You didn't do what we initally spoke about such as mechanical secondaries, but yet removed things like my choke and FBV solenoid..??? And when I asked what else you did to my carb that might not be so obvious to someone who isn't a "CARB GENIUS" like myself you blatently don't respond as if I did something wrong or have no right asking. Maybe I should read through your website for the 5th time and see if I can figure out what it is you might of done to the carb for myself.

I sent it to you for a rebuild b/c the accelerator pump gasket was leaking and the last time it was rebuilt was over 4-5 years ago. But yes, it ran beautifully and I was hoping to keep it that way while avoiding the bullshit of having to go through my own trial and errors, but darn, I'm doing it now anyways. And AFTER a 3 MONTH WAIT no less. Or should I feel lucky it hasn't been longer..???

I refuse to kiss your *** like the groupies on this website who promote your service every chance they get. It's quite annoying especially when in fact you can't keep up as it is, you speak down to people and are out right rude.

I did in fact respond to your last email. And as I've already stated, you can either ask me for help without being a complete ******* about it, -or you can just **** off. I really don't care much at this point. It's not like you're gonna be a "happy customer" when you're all sorted out, so really, WTF's in it for me?
There's a point I'll go to ensure customer satisfaction, but there's a point where any abuse I get turns me 'round 180*. The point I'll go to help is pretty far, IMO and in the opinion of many others. The point where I spin on a dime after taking any **** is not far at all.

Now, before you continue your efforts to try to demonize me, you have three choices, as I see it...

1. Email me for further instructions on troubleshooting your carb.
2. Send me the carb and I will try to track down the trouble, and ship it back to you within 3 business days upon receiving it, along with a check for 30 bucks to cover your S&H costs (-With no guarantee if I don't find anything wrong)
or 3, you can continue to pretend to be a victim of a bad business deal with a psychopathic maniac by wallowing in your carburetor ignorance while blaming me for all your carb woes.

Yup, that's where we stand. More than fair on my end, as far as I'm concerned.
By no means an olive branch, but simply an opportunity for you to get up & running for free.

-Like I say, when it comes to carbs, it's not MY fault that YOU don't know what you're doing.

I found the problem. The gasket for the fuel sending unit came apart and a chunk partially clogged the pickup hose in the tank. While taking everything apart I rebuilt the sending unit and that is working now too.

Thanks again for your help everyone. Especially Fire85GSLSE and Sterling.
