Need help with my carb swap!!!
OK, so I rebuilt a Nikki from an '83 12a. I swapped it onto my '85 this weekend. When I fired it up, it barely ran at all. It looked like the front bowl might not be getting enough fuel. After manipulating the throttle by hand to see what was happening, I figured I might have flooded the engine.
Then I realized I had left the throttle sub-return rod off. I replaced it, then tried unflooding the engine. After unflooding, I didn't notice that much gas has escaped the spark plug holes
With everything put back together, I tried it again. Nothing happened.
I'm stumped at the moment. Any suggestions?
