NEED HELP! My 1985 RX 7 won't Idle....
The car has been sitting for about 6 months and it ran just fine when I parked it. I went out a couple weeks ago and fired it up. The car ran fine until the manual choke kicked off and then it wouldn't idle at all. I really don't know much about these rotary engines yet, but my first guess is that there's a vacume line that busted on me and I just haven't found it yet.
Anyone have any ideas?
thanks

do what racermike says then get a new fuel filter for like 2 bucks at autozone and install it. then go out and how most people put it "Drive it like you stole it" so anotherwords drive it incredibly hard for a little bit and it should clean it out and make it idle good or at least idle. If this does'nt work then report back cause there are a lot of things that can cause a stock car with nothing removed to not idle.

Thanks for the advise........
I'll try changing the fuel filter tonight.... The plugs are all looking good. I was afraid the old gas would cause a problem.....
The tank ran dry on me when I fired it up. It smoked like a bon fire would for right before it ran out.... I put 5 gallons of fresh gas in it and the smoke went away, and it sounds like it's running great except for the idling problem.
