Rebuilding a rotary is easier than a piston engine. You only need a few special tools like a 2 1/8" or 54mm socket. Check the Mazdatrix website for more info.

I bet it's the plugs. I guess we'll know soon.

The car is running!!!!

The neighbor got it started yesterday while I was at work. He dumped a bunch of gas down the carb and turned it over until it started. Now it will start up on the first try.

Yeah, but what the hell is up with the apex seals? These things made out of a sponge? If it doesn't start on day one, why is it starting now?
