GSL-SE's were only available in 84 and 85 model years. Either it's not an -SE, or it's not an 83.

Check the VIN for a year, and pop the hood to see if it's an -SE...

-SE's havea big metal box on top of the engine that says RE-EGI, non -SE's have a big blue air cleaner...

he's asking about carbs, so it's a gsl or a gs, gslse were fuel injected and didn't have a carb. In terms of carbs, there are a lot of choices, do a search and you'll see some.

People are very fond of blaming a bad motor on the carb. esspecially when they are trying to sell the car.

There is a 99 percent chance you engine needs a rebuild.

For performance carbs search the forum.
