My windows = teh suck!!
Alright, I need help dammit!
Both of my windows keep coming out of their tracks. I have completely taken both doors/windows apart, cleaned every damn inch of the tracks, but it seems like after I roll them down + up (they're manual) a couple times, they come out of their tracks and I have to "help" them back up. It's aggravating, because I've tried everything I can think of.
Anybody have any ideas?

The tracks can be adjusted by losening their bolts and sliding to a new position. If you fiddle with the adjustment, you'll be able to get those windows rolling again.

I've tried that... It seems like they get knocked loose when the doors are closed. I've bought "new" (in other words, different) hardware off of ebay, I've changed as much other crap as I can... I think I'll just go steal somebody's doors.

Are the windows pushing the track out(the track thats in the door) specificly the front track under the A pillar?
After you get it back on the track, cycle it up and down a couple of times and watch that track. Is pressure pushing it outboard or inboard? if outboard, try some shims(washers) on the inside on the 10mm bolt, between the door and the track that holds that track inplace or use a lock washer incase it's just getting loose on you. I just replaced the track liner for my drivers side door because it came off the track the liner was shot. The liner might be worn on yours. They are not cheap but they seal up nice and you only change them out every 10years or so.
Just some ideas and experiences.
Good luck

Yeah, they seem to pop out from the track under the A-pillar. It pops out of the track so that the track is towards the outside and the window drops down and rides along the inside.

I forgot about the plastic. This is the piece that is in the holes that the window is bolted in with, if those are worn, replace them and make sure the lip is on the under side of the glass and not shifted or broke off.
Good catch drift...

It happens if the door is closed too hard with the windows up or down.
It happens when the door is closed with the windows down or halfway down.
It's really the only thing about the car I dislike.

I bought my parts car specifficaly to steal the window regulators. Having to stand in the rain and help the windows, while my nice dry wife laughs is a pain.
