My New 85 RX7 :) Please tell me what you think!
This is my new rex. Looked for awhile for the first gen i wanted. AND I FOUND IT. I have never seen a 1st gen in this kind of condition still 100% stock in my life. Not even 1 hose has a crack or damage on it. Driven 400 miles / year by a old lady. Bought it across my state, Florida. $2500.00 . Even the rims are shiney. Please vote and leave comments on what you think! p.s i can even squell the tires going into 3rd gear. no rust . paint is ORIGINAL. Everything is orignal cannot stress it enuff. the interior is 100% perfect shape. atenna motor works. stock speakers sound great. Try not to droll ;P
90k miles on it

Still has the stock stereo! Nice, nice car. But that can't be the original paint- Florida sun is hell on 80's red paint. I wish I was able to spend an extra grand when I was shopping for my seven, but I have too many other projects going on (who am I kidding, they aren't going anywhere until I get of my **** and do something). Oh well, with the exceptions of paint quality and some interior fading, my seven looks like yours.

Ooops, sorry- I talked more about me that your car in my last post. Yeah, you have found a beautiful car. It is becoming very hard to find pristine examples of 1st gen sevens (or even 2nd gen). If that is the original paint, do what you can to protect it. It probably is VERY dry by now.
BTW, a local lady has an 85 just like yours- same miles and excellent condition- but she won't take less than 4k$ for it! Dang, I tried to talk her down, but she wouldn't budge. Seems her late husband ran a nice car lot and picked certain cars to put into storage (like ten years ago). She also has a 60k mile like new GSL-SE for 4k$ if anybody wants any information on it- but it is an automatic..

Nice ride. You can squeal them in third you say? Yup, time for new tires - those originals are good-n-hard. I'd replace them (stick the originals in the garage if you really want to) before it wraps itself around a tree.
Oh, and check your math on how many miles she put on it a year It's still low, but it ain't 400 low.
