Will you just please follow the basic steps 1st then report the results.
Compression test results
Ignition test results
Fuel test results.
Stop making this harder then it has to be, especially on the people that are trying to help.
The procedures are all straight forward and only take a small amount of time to verify.
After we get the test results then we can brainstorm...

Hi I am puting a post in here because I dont want to start a new thread. Ok last night me and my buddy tryed to start my car. We tryed to jump start it but the motor is not turning over. He was reving his vans motor at redline but it did not work and we are going to try again this thursday. This moning I was talking to my dad after his work. I told him what we tryed. The cluch was pushed in. So my dad was asking is the cluch hydrolic cluch or the other kind. So I look in my rx7 parts book.(i for got the name) And it have a cluch sentser. So my dad said the cluch sentser is shot or not on or not put on right. I am asking could this be the problem or somthing else?

Huh, a clutch sentser eh?

Lol, we have hydraulic clutches. Try turning the motor over using a ratchet and if it won't go, don't even consider trying with the starter. You will just cause yourself more grief.

ya because you need the cluch pushed all the way in so it will start. but the sentser but not be broken and maybe that why the motor is not turning over.

No. More then likely your battery is discharged. Take the battery out and have it charged and tested. You cannot jump start thru a battery that is either "Completley discharged", Or a battery that has a dead cell. any battery that will fit and has the connections on the correct side will do. Also clean the battery cables.

83's did not have a clutch inhibitor switch on them.
