Just by looking I'd estimate $1500. If the front left fender wasn't bashed & rusty then maybe more. It is just too easy to find one of these cars for a good price. There is too much market competition from other more powerful, more modern cars. Unless someone is specifically looking for a 1st gen, then it is kind of hard to get much for these cars. Let's be brutally honest here. Someone could take that same $1500 and go buy a pretty nice 2nd gen, an MKIII Supra, or any other late 80's sports car and blow the doors off of your 1st gen. These cars have great personality, and intrinsic value to some, but if they aren't a 1st gen fan then you can pretty much forget about selling the car for any reasonable amount of money... ![Frown](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Sell it down in southern Cali, and she could go to a Mazda dealer and drive home in an RX8......
rediculous prices for first gens. A week a go I saw a GSL-SE for sale between $8000 and $10,000.

looks like that car had a hard life, stains around radiator point to engine over heating. Missing steering wheel consul cover point to electical problems. And that some one it the car's past did half hearted maintenance. Master brake cylinder reservoir shows that the car wasn't maintained. Red spark plug wires hints that a ricer or racer had the car and drove it hard. Also with the price of gas as it is..........
Maybe it is still a great car. But would a prospective buyer think so??
