new wheels arrive

due to unfair rule of the time attack at my area !!! ( can only street tires) and most tire company only offer
195....

so decide to go for 16x8 instead, i have more tires size and brand to choose

a infamous Regamaster Evo. The lightest forge wheel before TE37

Spec 16x8

weight 5.9KG

4x114.3.

offset 35 ( might need some spacer to make it fit)

and i just find out. the famous Re-amemiya SA22c Use simialr wheel too

Beautiful car overall. I can't believe I have not found this tread before especially considering that I have been building my track car for the last two years.

My car is currently at the build level that S2000 don't phase me. I usually find a Lotus and compete with him all day (even though I usually get beat in the corners).

I wish there were more RX-7s out there--especially first gens.

nice Project you have..

but seen to be like we went two different diteciton(yours turbo, mine is NA)

my next possible upgrade is also OS LSD, what i have now is 4.7 final drive with miata torsen

how did OS LSD do for you ?

I am now swaping my tired old 81 tranmssion to a 99 Miata 5 speed.
and replace my 5.5 twin plate cluth and cluch... because i have some issue of my 3.9lb flywheel
you can go race car section to see what i am talking about

Yes, different different directions but still on the track.

When upgrading my differential, I thought about the Miata/S2000 route. However, after doing some research on the prospective forums, they tend to fail at about 300rwhp. Since I was building well past that and I had already invested in Moser axles (ruled out the Ford rear end, plus I wanted tunability).

My two options were the Kazz and the OS Giken. I had ridden in Kazz equiped cars before and I did not care for the jerky way they engaged. The OS cost a pretty penny, but I have been very happy with it. The only time there is any jerkyness in on a full lock turn under power. Besides that, it engages like a stock differential.

So far, it has taken everything that I have thrown at it without any problems.

In order to keep my HSF cool in race use in my area ( that is 100F and 60% humidity )

i need some bigger radiator.... since i am the only one SA in my area. i need some creative idea

this is what i come out, Use Stock E36 radiator with BMW 5 series push fan

It was tide fit, but it sure cool well and is even lighter then my Stock copper setup

Some more update on the HSF

Fresh tire Toyo R888 GGG 225/45/16 with Spoon RegaMaster forge wheel

.since is pretty hard to find a wide 15 inch race tires in taiwan so i decide to used 16 inch

custom CNC spoiler bracket with RE_Amemiya GT2 Spoiler

Inorder to get best air flow. i custom this Tall wing bracket that extent all the way up from Bumper

support.

I always have best result with RE_amemiya GT2 spoiler. so i will still used it in my HSF
