That is an incredibly nice car man! My codriver and I sat up all last night watching your videos.
Nice driving too... I wish you luck in obtaining your goal, and will definitely be watching this
thread more closely now just as soon as I finish re-reading it!

I see that earlier in the thread, you mentioned that you are
considering going with Bilstein shocks up front. I have them
on the rear, and love the feel. Much better than the Illuminas
that they replaced. They were also a much shorter shock,
which works well with the adjustable rear perches.
Based on just a few drives, I highly recommend the
Bilsteins if you can find them...
Also, have you considered swapping out the watts linkage
for a trilink/panhard bar setup? I haven't installed mine yet,
but have heard many great things about it.
Have you considered installing an adjustable rear swaybar?
I think the one I've got is from ISC Racing, and has three
positions for adjustability.
The front bar from Respeed is hollow, and weighs something
like 10 pounds less than Racing Beat or similar aftermarket bar.
Also comes with endlinks that include turnbuckles so that you can
adjust out any preload on them. I haven't received mine yet,
but look forward to trying it out.
I'm going to have to look into those wheels you're running.
I was planning on staying with 13x8 rims, but really like the
look and fit of your setup.
Again, very nice car!

Thanks for the bilstein shock advice. I will consider this. or get a Tokico HTS form Ae86 and retro fit into my car. those shock are very nice !!.
In order to build a properly handeling chassic. the Third link and panhard bar is need it. The Stage i am now. I really need those setup. I am almost at limit of rear end I have now. However I might try to play with Aero a bit before I go Full third link and panhard bar
As for rear sway bar. I my self like use Spring to fine tune handeling( from my other car driving exp). Again I cant really do it. due to the Rear end I am runing now. now I have stock 1981 sway bar. but I might give adj rear sway bar a try. it might suprise me
The Respeed sway bar is nice. that is the next thing I will put on my car. Stock design sway bar end link are very hard to install right
As the wheels and tires. because of my tires {Nitto NT01} I am runing 225/45/15. so sportmax wheel is a cheaper soultion. I hope I can save up and get some Volk Te37 soon
Thank your Support. Hope to see more RX-7 on Track!!
I think the next stage of my car will be Aero, Front air dam. Carnard. GT rear spoiler. Then Better front brake. different shocks. and Panhard bar..

Hey Everyone,
Glad to see the old RX-7 is still being raced, seems DIYMAN shipped the car to Tiawan.
Just to clarify, the clutch is as pictured on page 4 of:
http://www.who-sells-it.com/images/c...0/pdf_9661.pdf
4 pounds for the center steel flywheel section. The ring gear is aluminum! If I recall correctly the total weight, discs, plates, flywheel, ring gear, bolts, throw out bearing, everything.... was 8 pounds. This 2 disc clutch is plenty strong for a rotary, the 3 disc version is used on IRL cars.
