My car starts!!
My 85 GSL has not run since september of 2006, and it was starting to make me sad ![Frown](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Lately I've been trying to get it running, with no luck, I bought a new energizer 875 cca battery in hopes of starting, NO LUCK!!... but... as learnt from this forum, a cap-full of oil down each primary barrel did the trick!
I love how my friends/family can't wrap their mind around how a rotary engine works, they think it is complete madness to put anything down the carb but gas..
I noticed it turned over REALLY fast after the oil, and fired to life, and that just made my whole day.. I haven't heard my rotary music in the longest time, and I feel I just had to post how it went![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Another suprising thing, it was about -20 C out!!

Run a can of Seafoam through the gas tank along with about 1/8 - 1/4 tank of gas. This will help clean out any nastiness that might have built up inside the motor/carb over the years. It's also a good idea to do this every few months to maintain proper seal movement and good compression...
