Bringing this thread back from the dead.
I'm experiencing this with my car right now. I've installed new Racing Beat springs. Replaced front control arm bushings and ball joints, tension rod bushings, strut mounts, front sway bar end links. All of these things needed to be replaced anyway on the shitbox restoration project. I just installed 2x 5mm strut top spacers on the driver's side. Still measures almost 3/4" lower on the driver side.
Still needs new sway bar bushings and an alignment. Relocate battery/lightweight battery? Can sway bar end link length affect ride height?

Drives me nuts to look at the car sitting uneven.

Discuss.

you think mazda would purposly try to make the passenger side heaier because 8 out of 10 the owner is solo when driving or racing
Remember in japan they are RHD and all the crap in the engine is on the right side too..

In RHD the driver balances it out by sitting on the right side. My car does this as do others. Sometimes you just need to raise the rearend, loosen all the attachment points, jack up the axle level until it just starts to take the full load, then tighten it all back down. Lower car. Might help it some.

what about the shock itself? Mine was slightly off on my FD and it ended up being the shock itself that was leaking oil and caused it to sag.
