Thank you in advance for downloading it. I presume that the chapter titles are enough to let you know if you want to download it or not. I'd make a low-res version, but for example, if I 72 dpi'd the rats nest removal - sure it might be a 5 M download instead of 15, but when it comes to seeing the holes to cap - you'd be more lost.
If popular demand wants a text file, I'll see what I can do - it just sounds like extra work for minimal savings if you ask me - since anyone who wants to do these is going to want pictures to go by. Either that or I increase the verbosity to the point where I'm using 1000 words per picture, and that will hit novella status before the 4th pic.

Unless I have missed it somewhere in here, I did not see the topic of a velocity stack come up. It seems to me that once you have cold air the next step is to accelerate it for easy ingestion. What would be really slick is to figure out how to incorporate a velocity stack into the CAI. Unfortunately, I have told you everything I know about a velocity stack right now. But maybe someone reading this thread could add to this thought.

Well, 52 minutes later, Im done DL it
. I had DSL at my other place of living, but Im not living there anymore
. Oh well. It loks good guys
. The only thing I have a problem with, is the whole "microwave popcorn dish" look
. It reminds me of one of those skillet looking things that you buy and heat up and they fill up with popcorn, lol

msimonov That may be comming in the future. Im working on it. ![Wink](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
TJ, just cover it with something to make it look how you like it. It was made for go not show. Its just a concept and not the only way to do it. Feel free to modify to what suits u best.

I dont think Ill ever actually make it, Im trying to get a Dellorto right now (shhh...) with the money that my friend is paying me for working on his car with, but Im $50 short
. I want to make a CAI for the Dell if I get it. I was thinking of using a sealed bonnet for the turbo applications, and then using duct to make a CAI, then, when I actually build the turbo setup, I can use the same bonnet, lol. I dont know how well Dells work for blowthroughs though, so I may end up with a different carb...I dont know right now, lol.

What are you making the stack out of? Are you copying a proven stack shape? I don't know all that much about these things.... ![Wink](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

just a little update on how my cai is slowly comming along..
ive finally near finished my carby bonnet (just gota finish the painting of it)
here are some pics of it..
the side
the front
the bottom
it was all made from PVC pipe, 4" or 10cm pipe for the body and 3" for the duct and it was all glued together using a plastic weld called jb weld. 9hope the glue holds up)
im thinking of wraping it in that 1000mph aliminium tape that Rx7carl used on his setup. would it advised?
now for stage 2. buy a pod filter and relocate it behind the headlight and sheld it all off.

What I meant was to make the fiberglass blanket so its waterproof, ie wrap it in something to protect it.
I've been too busy to get to the other CAI pics. Ill post when I do it.
