cheapasaurus REX, I'd keep up with your dad at least monthly - since both of you have peace now. I'm 55 & life has a way of taking things away from you when you least expect it. Give him a monthly report on what you've done to the car so you can have something in common. Maybe something is going on that he's not telling you. Life is short, too short. Know what I mean?

Alright! when I recieved her my father had told me the clutch was out completely. Upon closer inspection I noticed the pedal flat on the floorboard, I called my dad up and asked him how the clutch went out, he stated...
"I was 'speed shifting' and I heard a POP and the pedal wouldn't come back up"
After hearing this news, i returned for a closer inspection of the hydrolic system and found.........
a broken clutch pedal return spring!!!!! I filled and bled the clutch hydrolics and they HOLD! no leaks!, both master and slave work wonderfully!, although it still needs the return spring (as the pedal doesn't return all the way based on pressure) I am stoked! no need to replace the clutch plate (hopefully).
Now all she needs is gas......
......to be continued

me: "Um, yeah"
dad: "Come get it"
me:"KICKA$$"
Dad: "watch your mouth"

(by the way my father and I have spoken a total of around 15 times and seen each other maybe 5 since 1997 so if this is his idea of a peace offering ....I accept )

Update!!!!! SHE'S ALIVE!!!! ALIIIIIIIVE!!!!!
Put about a gallon of gas in her bone dry tank....no fuel getting to carb....I am sure she just needs more juice to fill the lines to the carb.
So i got a little impatient...and tossed a bout 1/4 a cup of gas into the carb....and she fired right up and ran glass smooth....until the gas was all used up. I'll give her a few more gallons of gas and then troubleshoot fuel delivery if necessary.
