My 84' RX7 stating issues. ( Timing help )
I posted a thread and i got a lot of help. everyone is putting their money on the timing. Well I got one more question. How to propperly set the pulley with the scentric shaft? Is that revelant? Another issue I have is one of the Green Check-valves on the rast nest (the one in the middle) just broke. Do I really need this to get the car started? Thanks evreyone again...........

Pulley and e-shaft location IS very relevent. The pully will fit 4 different ways, only one is correct. I am not sure which way that is, though. I'm sure others can state which way to install it.
As for the rats nest part that broke, it won't keep it from starting, but *may* cause a vacuum leak once it is running.

you should never take the pulley off the eccentric shaft unless you mark so you can put them back properly. hub and pulley marks are matched at the factory always use a pulley that you know has not been messed with. or buy the racing pulley from racing beat.
