FL Mustang wheels

Anyone running mustang wheels on a 1st gen.

I'm thinking of going with bullitt wheels and wondering if anyone else has a picture with these on their car.

Speedware Wheels 1994-04 Mustang Bullitt Wheel 17x8 Anthracite With Machined Lip - $109.99 - Brothers Performance 800-486-2681

or something similar

their 17x8 ...5 lug and easy to get tires for.

They would also be only 1.3 inches taller running 245 40 17s on the rear
and 1.2 inches taller running 215 45 17s on the front

and with 1" lowering springs I should have a fairly stock ride height with more ground clearance for v8 exhaust & stuff.

(it should give me 2 inches more ground clearance going from 13 to 17's)

both these tire sizes are in abundance

I would like to go 16 or 15, but there just aren't that many tires available.

I've worked this out using Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

and by measuring the current tires and I have a set of 17 inch Altima set and 19 inch maxima set from my other cars I have measured. The readings on that site are pretty accurate.

thoughts?

i have them on my car! sorry for the crappy pix and angles... the offsets are so high (+50) that i needed a spacer in the front to get them to fit. the rears are perfect!

THANK YOU!

that's just what I was looking for.

I love the rears, the fronts look to be out there a little bit.

The ones I posted are showing 29.5 MM offset.

would take some adjustments no doubt, but perhaps they would tuck up under the front better. there are a million bullitt wheel makers.

You helped me a lot showing me what they look like on the car!

Can you post the size your wheels are? Did you have your axles drilled or did you go with aftermarket axles or some sort of big brake kit.

I have the RESpeed big brake kit (front and back) but I haven't installed them yet. I still need to get the 5 lug Mosser axels for the rear.

yeah, I would like to know the wheel size as well. grannys says you can get 275s back there. I measured my 245s and they look like they would be real tight.

and are the wheel wells rolled?

sorry i forgot to answer the question. i picked up some mustang wheels b/c they were so cheap. they are 17x8 et +50. the fronts needed a spacer to get them to fit and no spacer on the rears. the fronts i have 205's and the rears are shod with 245's. i dont think i can get 275's back there as there is a slight bit of rubbing. i did roll the fender lightly. i hope this helps.

Thanks. I like what you did and is inline with what I'm trying to do. The only thing I don't want to do is roll the fenders. Maybe I can go with a little smaller then 245's.

Do the fronts rub on the fenders or while turning?
