i need some help with this. i'm planning on droping a 13b-rew in my sa. i have couple Q's about this. can i use the sa/fb front cover on the 13b-rew motor or do i have to make custom mounts for it. and will the 12a tranny hold up to the power the 13b-rew is going to put out or do i have to use the 13b trannys. i might have more questions later on. any info would help.

 

You will need a SE front cover and oil pan, and if you are going turbo, you will need to have an oil line machined into the front cover. The 12a tranny may hold, or it may not. It would probably be better to go with a 13b t2 motor.

Word of advise, don't half *** it, or you will be sorry later. Also, there is a lot of threads on the various engine swaps with a lot of information that you may want to search for.
