Wow, you guys are making me feel kinda left out. I hate computers, but accept their convenience. My car keeps me online. I aspire to me a musician, and play bass in a band with little to moderate success. Hey, we played CBGBs and The Stone Pony. I have orange hair and I bet 9 out of 10 people would call me a punk. I hate every "punk" I ever met though, so I don't know what I am.

an outkast. dont feel bad theres a lot of us. i'm white work in the shipyard, hang out with mostly black people that drink hinekin, listen to angry white people music and drive domestic beaters. i like rap, drink 40's of steel reserve (8.1% high gravity lager), drive a fixed up (stock looking) 7. if your happy where your at f*ck what everyone else thinks there just mad you don't follow societys boundries. look at this forum...white, black, asian, old/young, rich/poor, white/blue collar, crazy/down to earth, if you cant fit in here were can you fit in....
didn't mean to get all into it but noone should feel left out here

Cool, ive been doing this for about a year now. sometimes its boring, but its still the best job ive ever had. I think i spend more time on here than on work i should be doing.

Im starting to think the poll is a little biased. Think about it, we all use computers to communicate with each other about our already nerdy rotary cars. So by default about 90% of us are going to be total nerds.

id say im a geek, i work with my computer everyday for atleast 5 hours total... i used to use it all day (and night)until i got a shity job, and the rex to play with

me and my friends used to bring eachother computer over and network 3 of them together when we were realy young and play oldschool shootemups networked lol.

ive always loved takin my toys apart and putting more powerfull batteries or engines in tiny little cheap remote control cars, few of them melted few of them just sorta pfft and died.

im am now getting into the CTC course for mechanics and will soon be on my way to becoming a certified grease monkey

I deliver pizzas for Panago (www.panago.com). Great place to work at. And starting August 25th, I'm training to be a Heavy Duty mechanic and a Commercial Transport Vehicle mechanic. I am a nerd though, I took all the IT courses at my high school 2 years before you're supposed to, and I got 90% + in all of them

All 7 owners are nerds. I drove past a Sunbeam Alpine stranded in my neighbors driveway and wondered how hard it would be to implant a rotary and transmission,

Going back to school (after many yrs in the work force) for my AME ticket (same as A&P in the states). Just another term for aircraft mechanic. Also fly airplanes as a private pilot, and disc jockey on the side.
Geek? I used to be cool, but I grew out of it...

inittab - I'm running a dual-boot 98SE and XP setup, but around here with my group, if you mention "windows 98" nobody's EVER talking about that crap beta they called 98 when it first came out. If it doesn't have SE, it either is a bad version of windows, or a rex without rear LSD

and thorin, you seem to have the same key

It's the only cdkey that'll work on the hacked version of XP pro that doesn't contact microsoft... which.. of course.. I'm obvously not running...

Despite being a geek/nerd...at least now I can just spend on what I like without feeling guilty.

And Yeah, geeks and nerds are coming to the main stream. However, if one's not a nerd or geek, you just have to be ugly and in shape these days to get the chicks...look at 50 cent...(I rest my case)
