Mistery fittings.

I barely ever start threads because i search, but I need to know something fast.

There is one fitting on the drivers side of my engine (82 GSL). It has nothing on it, and it looks like a coolant hose should go on is, mabey for the heater core. Also, I only see one hose coming from the firewall for the heater core. The other fitting next to it doesn't have anything on it. I just need to know if these two fittings go together. They look like they do, but i'm not sure.

if it's coming out of the rear housing, below the oil filter, that's for a heater hose connection.

Thanks rxtasy3. Thats all I wanted to know. Looks like I need to go to crappy tire and get a universal heater hose.

Actually, the project is almost done. I just finished the last bits of rust yesterday, and just got everything coated in black undercoating. No bare metal left, and no rust holes.
