there is no reason you can not put these in the stock location. it would be much easier to modify the frame work there to get these to work there than to do what you are talking about. photochop them in the stock location to see what it looks like there. some minor mods to the light kit would need to be made also but still much easer than moving them up that far. the $250 mx5 kit is not the round lights is it?

No, they're square, all i could find in close to the right angle were those.



The way they're designed i don't see how it's possible to mount them anywhere other than what i said. I don't see how sawing upwards in the hood and glassing over the holes for the pop-ups is going to be too much work. Maybe 2 hours per side.

I like the sleek kit also, and I plan on doing mine nexy year. right now I'm to busy making Lexan sunroof's for the FC's

id love to have that kit
but as it is, im using a hose clamp to hold the headlights actuator arm on $$$---

maybe when im done being a poor college student

btw i wonder if those save any weight

I'm assuming the lights on that FB are part of the Kaminari bumper because he doesn't list them seperate. I may end up just using the covers and lights from their kit, then making my own custom tray from sheet metal.
