Anyone anthing about their rebuilds. I still haven'e found a motor for the SE.

 

CRAP! I ordered a 12a for $1100 back in 1999 or so and it only lasted about 20k miles. I drive like an old lady so it was not from abuse. The whole engine was spray painted silver and just looked like crap. If I was at the house w/ the paperwork I could give you more exact details but you get the point.

 

Use an S4 motor, uim,lim,and Tb. It is well worth the extra HP and is not much work at all.
BTW- missed ya at the gap run.

 

Wish I could have been there. From what I have read, I missed a real bash! Unfortunalty I was laid up for the last 4 days. Somehow I cut my eye and almost lost the use of it for good. Sure was inlightening banging into the furniture with both eyes patched. As you can see from my spelling I still can't see worth a crap.
I guess I need to just go ahead and call Kevin and see what he can set me up with. I have tried everwhere to find an original, and it just isn't going to happen.

 

I got one in Feb of 2001, died by Sept 02. I only had 18K miles on it, babied it for 5000 also. It was friggin $1800 too. Their rebuilds are CRAP! I want my $$ back B&*#%!!
