I got really lucky today, i found this car on craigslist last night 20 minutes after it was posted, the guy i got it from is the son of the owner of Mariah Motorsports,it's got it all,it did have an engine fire, but i am gonna fix before i do the turbo swap,oh it is a 84 GSL-SE.i paid $500 for it.i will post more pics as the project evolves, enjoy.

Thats insane!!
500 bucks wouldnt normally buy you a STOCK SE, that had an engine fire!
And being what it is, and who its from, you know that the kit was installed right......very,very nice score!

i had a friend years ago who's neighbor owned a mariah mode 1 and a 94 FD in kennewick, wa. i tried to contact the owner but he was never home. i would have bought both! what a waste they just sat there for years!
good luck in whatever you do with it!

thanks,i've been working on it all weekend here and there, took the dynamic chamber & maifold off,i'm gonna need to put a different throttle body on because the fire detroyed the linkage,it will also need new oil injectors, and some new hoses, but all in all it's really not that bad.I should have it running by middle of the week,i will post some pics later today.

the only reason i'm fixing the SE engine,is so that if it runs runs good,i can shoot a vid and sell it to help finance the turbo motor swap.origanlly i was going to put in a S5 t2,but i'm just gonna go straight to the 13B RE,not sure on turbo size yet, engine management will be a power FC,itwill have a large Streetport, stage 3 oil mods,i'm even thinking ceramic seals as i will be running around 25 PSI for track use.
