Manual Window Problems - Video

So basically loud clicking noises and random stops. Seems to work fine on the way down but on the way up... Anyway I just slathered the whole assembly with lith grease and it got abit smoother but is this the sign that I need new... crank window things?

oh yay how hard are they to replace? Would it be worth the time and money to just go with a power window setup?

2 screws hold the window to the regulator and then the regulator is held to the door with like 4 bolts, thats about all there is to remove it... I think BlackDragon sells them fairly cheap and they should work fine.

I'm not a fan of old power windows so I wouldn't go that route, but you could probably source all the parts on here from someone...

i might take you up on that glews, if only to try them out. I think I read somewhere that the wiring under the center plate on the tranny tunnel is for the electric windows if equiped or something or other. Since I'm getting ready to reupholster my door panels (as you can see i've taken the cards out already) I'd like to figure if i'm gonna stay manual or go electric so I know whether I need to cut the hole for the manual crank or not. Can anyone confirm the wiring bit I'm talking about? I'll throw a picture up later for clarification.

So I was wrong about the wiring bit (I think). Does anyone know if this is repairable? Is it just a cog that needs to be replaced or the whole set of bow teeth? I'm just curious if anyone has ever tried to fix this without replacing the whole regulator and instead rebuilding it.
