Lug bolts from Discount Tire Direct
Just a bit of info on the lug bolts I received from them. They sent me 12X1.5X28, the 28 being the length, with the Rewinds I ordered. I'm sure if I had rear disc brakes that it wouldn't make a difference, the fronts were fine, the rears were another story. I put the wheels on and took it for a test drive and it sounded like something was grinding in the rear end! I parked for the night as it was already dark out. The next day I took the back wheels and drums off and the lug bolts were rubbing on the spring for the shoes! I called them up today and they are sending me the 12X1.5X24's I'll post and let everyone know if there is any clearance issues.

Guess I'll tag my question to this thread instead of starting a new one since this more or less addresses my concern.
I'll be ording some Rewinds for my GSL but from Performance Plus. I wanted to know what length bolts and locks to tell them I need. Stock is something like 21mm but the shortest I can find is 23mm. Now that I know 24mm will work I might just request that but still wondering if 23mm would be better.

The 24's worked perfect on the rear. I don't know about the front though, I left the 28's on there since there is a ton of room for the longer studs.
Do you have rear disks, or drums?
I wish Yahoo would quit sending my RX7Club e-mails to the spam folder, I would have replied a lot sooner.

I've got 4 wheel disc brakes and I'll be ordering lug bolts and wheel locks this weekend. I see most have gone with 28mm bolts so guess that's what I'll go with.

Put my wheels on over the weekend. I wound up ordering 24mm length bolts and they were perfect. According to the specs for a 12X1.5 bolt, the minimum number of turns needed before it engages the wheel is 6.5. It was more like 10, so I was good there. On the back side of the rotor the ends were either flush or just sticking out a hair. I had some concerns on how much clearance there would be with a 28mm bolt and the brake caliper.
The only snafu were the hub centering rings. Discount Tire showed my hubs being 59.1mm so sent 59.2mm. One rotor was 59.1mm, the other 3 were 59.6mm. I have a couple spare front rotors, they're 59.1mm. I'll order some 59.6mm rings.

Have to give a kudos to Discount Tire. Called and told them through no fault of their own I needed some different size rings. "Steve" said no problem and is sending out a set of 59.6mm free of charge. That's after I already gave them all 9 and 10's on their customer service survey.
