LSD Rear Ready, Detailed DIY coming soon!

If interested, I have done a write-up with photos when I did mine swap last spring. Click on my signature graphic, below, if you are curious. It's Powerpoint (with photos) saved in a .jpg format so as to post it, page-by-page, on cardomain. I think it starts at page 4 on my cardomain.

Hey man, as far as the SS lines go, did you have to get Mazdatrix to mix and match one of their kits for your application? I just ordered some stuff from them today, with a special request for the lines. I've got an '83 GS and an 85 GSL rear waiting to go in. Since they only offer 2 difft. kits, one for 81-83 GSL's and another for all 84-85's (which mine is neither) I figured that maybe the fronts might be different threads or something?
Chasrx, how easy/ hard was it to put the RX8 seats in there and how much did you get them for? I'm drooling over those seats, and the rest of the car looks sweet, nice work!
Sorry for the jack!

I dont mean to Hi jack your thread legokcen but I just wanted to ask some general questions about transfering the GSL rear end. I have someone who will sell me the "pumpkin and axles" for $250 shipped. Is this a reasonable price and is that all I need? I am sure I will have to purchase a few odds and ends to finish up the axle but in general will I be able to throw that into my S model in a weekend if I have everything ready before hand? I tried searching for this topic yesterday and couldnt really find what I was looking for.
