LSD fit?
(First Thread) Does anyone know if this rearend will fit on an 85 GS or even if it would be a good idea to put it on?

yea, that'll fit an 85. just slide the axles out, pull the old one out, put that in, and voila. you can keep your current axles if i have read around here correctly. a lot of people just swap the whole thing out.. better bolt pattern, bigger brakes, and in my case, rumbling.. but that's another thread..

Yes, it is a drop-in replacement for 84/85 cars. Make sure you nail down the shipping cost, though. Once you factor in shipping, it might not seem to be such a great deal...depends on local pricing of similar stuff.

From Benton Harbor, Michigan to Lorton, Virginia (Northern VA) it cost 45 to ship a pumpkin... Fed Ex. Got here in 2 days! I'm happy... They didn't beat it up either.
