Angry Low conpression

Ok my car sat for 4 years and i got it running and when i first started it up on 50:1 pree mix i had 90 psi on the back rotor and 100 on the front....I drove 300 miles and i checked the conpression today and im at 90psi on the front and 60 on the back......what do i doo.......How much am i looking at for a rebuild?

After sitting for 4 years.....

I believe the ATF trick is in order. There is a chance that it could bring back some lost compression.

mmo is a great product!! you can pick up a bottle of it at nearly any auto parts store! marvel mystery oil is what its called. very very good product! use it like you would an atf treatment.

90 PSI is on the low side (still driveable), while 120 PSI would be the higher end of things.
Anything 90 and under would be prety bagged out, and a good rebuild cantidate before it grenades itself.

Ok soom more info.....i put some engine oil in the park plug hole's and then did the conpression test hear is the resalts.......The 60psi went to 80 and the 90psi went to 94 psi.......Dont know what that means but on a v8 that says bad rings...lol


So you think if i do the mmo it will free up some conpression........engine only has 30,000miles on a rebuild.

thats soooo cool cuz i got 130-132 front and back w00t and on a 30k engine thats not right....mine has 150k
