Low brake pedal..with new wheel cylinder

OK, so i just bought my 85Rx7 w/ rear drum brakes. The brake pedal is low because the wheel cylindeers in the back were leaking. So i spent $60 and put them on. The brake pedal got a little better but is still VERY low. I saw an adjustment nut(i think) but not sure how it works...is it supposed to self adjust, b/c it hasn't....Help anyone?
P.S. The e-brake works very slightly when pulled all the way, and when pulled half way..the pedal isn't low anymore...HELP please!!!!!!! Thanks Jack
