Loss of power at lower temperature
My 84 GSL-SE has been doing ok since I replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, removed the gas tank and had it professionaly cleaned, replaced plugs and wires. The problem I had was it was not getting fuel from the rust build up. Anyways, yesterday I went to drive it for the first time in the early morning (it had been really hot in the afternoon any other time) I am guessing it was about 60 degrees outside and when I tried to drive it, it would lose all power and drive. I was barely able to get it to work by slowly easing on the gas to get it to go. That afternoon it started up and drive just fine. This morning I start it up and try to apply gas and it died again. So I let it idle for 10 mins and was able to drive it pretty well with the exception of it slightly hesitating when trying to give it alot of gas. Someone told me it could be vapor lock, anyone have any ideas on why 30 degree temp change would make a difference?

I think it may be a cold start issue, not vapor lock. I would go over all the vacuum lines and
make sure theres no leaks. I'm not familiar with the SE fuel injection system and cold starts but
on carb I would say its a choke issue. Sounds like a cold start system is not working properly.
