Even if it was a late production change, shouldn't it show up on the parts fiche somewhere? Those things got every blessed screw and nut on 'em. Including the sunroof bag.

I don't see it in there.

Not arguing, just saying.

It would be very simple to lay out a large piece of butcher's paper, or even taped together newspaper and make a template to transfer the pattern to a 4X4X1/8 sheet of tempered Masonite or mahogany plywood. I'm thinking I may have run across one of these sheets in a parts cat. Iirc, the material is the same as the door cards and not water resistant.

I checked, and sadly don't have any pictures of mine. I threw them both out at the beginning of the projects because, as Trochoid said, they are usually ruined from water exposure.

Keep this thread up to the top. I'm sure that someone will run across it and post a picture. I would imagine that several other people here have the same thing in their car.

Unhappy Totally depressed

Dear Fellow RX1sters,

I am sorry I have not been it touch pertaining to pictures of the new ones I am constructing; however, on Wednesday I got in a severe wreck with my '78 Porsche 928 which has dominated my thoughts given I am attempting to keep it from being totaled. My 928 is even more primo than my RX7 and I know it is probably not appropriate to talk about it on a rotary forum; however, I am so depressed over it. I apologize to you all and hope I will be more engaged next week.
Thanks, and I would be equally bummed if it were my RX7 than my 928. I love all my children equally - faults and all.
You guys are all great.

Jesse,
I will post pics when I go over to the lot where it was towed today. Look for them tonight. Thanks for the support.
