Good score!

I remember when I bought my GSL-SE is was half sunk in a field with grass growing all around it. It was only when we got it up on the trailer that my friend noticed the full racing beat exhaust from header to muffler!

Practicaly rust free GSL-SE with clean interior and a full exhaust for $500! The only good rx7 related deal I've ever gotten.

Congratulations.

the collecter on the header looks very under-engineered...

That header has issues, unequal length and very short primaries. The two pipes should be much longer to make best power.

Oh and that thing will be LOUD, one resonator and a Lukey muffler..........Lukey is a very popular brand in Australia for V8s etc, not so much for rotaries if I remember correctly

Sorry to come down on your find.

yeah i agree with aussiesmg, that header is an issue....that and its welded together that not going to be good in the long run..for instance when you want to change your clutch? your going to have to remove the WHOLE thing just to change it..sucks but in anycase awwsome for you nice come up if it works out....

they dont necesarily have to be equal length the lenths just have to be equal in proportion, but that may actually harder to acheive than equal length(BTW im not saying its proportional either)

Major problem... It looks like that thing is homemade...I am sorry to say boss...but that thing is going to get REAL hot...REAL fast! Those primaries need to be at least till after the passenger side seat bucket...then collect into one... My exhaust on the racecar collects just before the rear-end...Just to give you an idea...

yeah its probly home made. btw lukey is very popular over here in australia, popular for its distinctive sound. i will see how it runs, judging by the condition of the header id say yes it runs bloody hot. but i can always get a new header anyway. i sandblasted the exhaust and polished it up pretty nice today. ill put up pics once i get all the interior and exhaust etc onto my main RX

i would be more proud of the thermo fan in for-ground.....
Where are the primary pipes and don't tell me that those twin dumps are it.
lukey are good on a 5.7 v8 for the gargle but on a rotor with a single exhaust?
see the y piece ..... cut it there and find someone to run the two pipes to the diff(2.5'')
use the y piece there but run it to 3.5'' with a can at the back and a 4'' tip. thats my 12a and it sounds **** hot.
just a few thoughts i had while skimming over the article, dont take anny offence though us aussie rotor nuts are not too common here.

lukey is the aus version of rip off! I've used it on v8's only because that is their only use
is anyone selling a 12at at the moment? anywhere?
