This is not a junkyard...it's a "recycling center" They pay out for metal. I felt like I was taking my life into my hands by taking a couple pictures! I found a nice 3" mandrel bend exhaust I wanted and the guy yelled at me for picking it up to look at it!! Anyway, it was probably just a RX-7 that quit running!

Saw about the same thing at our local "recyling" center. But this one was only stacked when I saw it and the whole front end looked good...

...would have loved to had it just as it sat!

That's how all cars end up, isn't it is amazing how great they look on the show room floor.

Despite how shitty looking I keep mine, it has continues to defy time and physics.

That's not how mine ended up

Me and my friends figured a proper burial was the least we could do for my '84 shell. Seeing as how we couldn't dig a hole big enough for a car, we settled for a large lake that used to be a limestone quarry. So we towed it there (it fell off the trailer along the way, apparently it didn't want to be buried yet, or maybe my friend just had no idea how to hook it to a trailer) and we rolled it in.

I mean, who WOULD want their RX-7 turned into door hinges and cabinet handles?

hahaha, just imagine how many other RX7s have gone the way of the crusher when people were too stupid to swap engines or repair simple problems....

Ultra compact. Bet its a bitch to get in/out of. Looks like it could use an alignment too, but I'm no expert.
