Look what came today ;)

I got this big black beauty in the mail today. I will be heading back to TN this weekend and this was the last piece of the gigsaw to make my car complete. ignore the doubled extremely large spacers, I am trying to save space in what will be a packed tight Pathfinder on the way there.

Starting next week will be my build thread but it won't be in the 1st gen section since y'all don't dig on that kind of stuff.

Also, I included a picture of the reef tank I been building. Damn hard to get math right with alcohol and salt water all around, lol.

I for one believe the first gen forum belongs to first gens regardless of engine. I would like to know more about the rear axle setup and cost though

Ok, that is a grannies level 5 rear end kit. Cost near $5k for everything together. I had it widened to GSL-SE specs for better offsets (19mm better each side). I went with 3.73 gearing because it is all the rage with the LS guys. I am running a LS1 with T56 to get it on the road then will be upgrading to a bigger block at some point. I got the true lock style dif clutch thingy. And it is set up to use S5 turbo brake components. That is about it. Waiting to get paid so I can back to Ft Campbell and get started. Unfortunately vacation has drained my savings and I may have to put all projects on hold for a few weeks. When I get there I should have a gas tank ready for pick up with a nice sump for external pumps. Also, my harness bar should be welded to my roll bar.

That is one sharp rear end.

Are you going to be running the ReSpeed front brakes to match the rear?

yes. I am running respeed coilovers front and rear and matching Turbo2 brake systems front and rear. I am also using the Respeed R&P kit witht the quick ratio.

To be honest, I am rebuilding the entire car. there isnt a piece not getting upgraded in some way shape or form.

^Thats the way to do it, no point in giving it a bunch of HP only to have worn bushings etc... Will be interested in seeing this build take shape, even if it does have the "devil engine" lol
