Long Road Ahead....

Hey Its been A LONG TIME...... so i've made a couple mistakes

SOLD my RX7... BIG MISTAKE I KNOW......

so i'm back in the market one question though

When i was selling my RX7 it had a couple probs..
Carb was going out
it wouldn't Accelerate quickly at all
wouldn't go above 55 in any gear (low gears excluded)
would stall and was VERY HARD TO Start (thought it was connected with Carb)

If Anyone can help Diagnois this problem i know the details are little but i was worried it was a Compression prob.... any ideas help.

Thankz

Could be several different things, or a couple of them together. Clogged cats, low compression, carb needed rebuilt, fuel filter/supply.

My crystal ball says fuel filter and supply lines.

My magic eight ball says that it was the carb.

And my psychic said she doesn't ******* have any idea because the details aren't detailed enough.

Don't take it personal, they were having a little fun. Fwiw, the crystal ball is my joke, so don't believe anyone else who reads thier's. I have the only RX7 crystal ball ever made.

What I stated in my 1st post covers most of the places to begin checking. Your statement that the carb was going out is pretty vague, how it acted/performed would be a big help.

If I posted and said my carb was going out, I'm sure someone would ask why it was dating someone else. lol

I gave you two really good places to start with. It isn't that I am trying to be an *** as much as put a little bit of comedy into the situation. It would be a hell of a lot nicer to have more details so we could actually help you out instead of just listing off a number of things it could possibly be. I mean it could be any number of possible things, in order to really give a good answer we need a lot more information, because without the information your guess is as good as ours.

And for the record... my crystal ball is made of glass. Its a fake. It is Trochoid's joke, someone just asked who's turn it was to use it, so I rolled with it.

so i'm confused. Why do you want to know how to fix someone else's car?
check out the flow chart.
buy rx
------->ask questions about rx
------------------------------------->fix rx
--------------------------------------------->sell rx
-------------------------------------------------------repeat
you are all jumping around the flow chart. If you don't do things in order you'll have anarchy, and thats no good. You should just go ahead and release the monkeys right now.
