Mine isn't hooked up. I sometimes "bog" when flooring the gas pedal, too. Does this need to be hooked up?

Can anyone tell me if that little eyelet needs to be grounded? See photo^^^

There are two wires that come from the air vent solenoid, and I assume I need to ground this to something...but I can't remember where it was grounded to.

Ah. I guess I never found it's home back to the rats nest after I rebuilt the carb; then that would be a ground. Thanks!
