Little joystick

Does anyones joystic that sets wich speakers the music comes out of actaully work? I removed the **** and put a button there to turn my amps on and off, i was just wonderin if anyones still worked thou

Mine does, on the -SE. I keep hiiting it and wackin out the balance though.

all 84-85 came with that joy stick, im gonna remove mine after i get a different radio

Mine works, and is still stiff enough not be knocked around too badly.

However I chose to bypass it when I installed the CD player and eight speaker sound system .

But for the week that I drove the car with the original sterio It worked just fine.

Mine works perfectly. Sometimes there's some static noise while i move it around, which stops as soon as I stop moving it.

Ya mine had the staic noise too, but it stops as soon as you stop moving it.

If you are real careful it won't crackel

Not all '84-'85 Rx-7 have them, it depends on which stereo you car had installed.

Which was mostly GSL and GSL-SE, also the '81-83 had a joystick fader if equiped with the electronic turner unit that was located below the EQ.

Oh thats for the radio? I always pretend i'm in a fighter jet crusin down the road at 80mph. the two buttons in front of it control the missiles and guns.
