Lighten The first gen
Can you guys give me some idea's on how to lighten my car.
-before painting the car I removed the little braces in the bumpers
-fiberglass hood is out of the question shipping to where i live will be crazy.
-removed alot of that tar on the floor
-header is alot lighter than reactor
-my rims/tires are alot lighter than stock
-plexi glass moonroof is lighter than stock
-I bought an aluminum spare off a 86 second gen. (front wheels off mazda trix 1st gen dragster) I have 2 of them.
-my stereo should go, but it looks nice and took alot of work. So that should stay.
anything else...
p.s. a/c removed, and engine undercover removed/ also heat sheilds removed.

chunk the spare altogether and get a can of Fix-a Flat. Alternately, you could carry a portable air compressor that runs off of your cig lighter and a kit to fix tires. Both combined will still weigh less than any spare.

how (supposedly) to remove *all* that sound deadening (tar stuff) from your interior:
1) Go to local party store and buy some dry ice.
2) Go to local Sears Hardware and buy Shop Vac
3) Remove entire interior that is interfering with access to the sound deadening.
2) Put the dry ice on the sound deadening and let it get it REALLY FREAKING COLD.
3) Grab hammer.
4) Move dry ice out of the way
5) Smack the cold sound deadening with hammer (imagine that you are hammering away at your computer).
6) Use Shop-Vac to vacuum up all the little chunks.
